Frequently Asked Questions
Often after installing Verbox, the widget fails to transmit client data—the operator sees only "Guest," and offline chats get lost. For instance, an online store with 10,000 items lost 30% of inquiries because notifications weren't delivered. After integration, chat conversion rose by 15%, and response time halved from 5 minutes to 2.5. Average operational cost savings reach 40%, and ROI occurs within 2–3 months. We solve such tasks in 1–2 days. Integration with 1C-Bitrix requires understanding of infoblocks and caching. This article provides technical details: proper widget installation, user profile transmission, offline form configuration, and CRM setup.
How to install the widget without breaking the template?
Insert the widget code into the Bitrix template:
<!-- Before </body> in site template -->
<script type="text/javascript">
var __cs = __cs || [];
__cs.push(["setCsAccount", "YOUR_ACCOUNT_ID"]);
(function() {
var cs = document.createElement("script");
cs.type = "text/javascript";
cs.async = true;
cs.src = ("https:" == document.location.protocol ? "https://" : "http://") + "lib.verbox.ru/support.js";
var s = document.getElementsByTagName("script")[0];
s.parentNode.insertBefore(cs, s);
})();
</script>
In Bitrix, add it via Settings → Product Settings → JS Fragments (see documentation on dev.1c-bitrix.ru) or directly in the site template file /local/templates/{template_name}/footer.php. Ensure the script loads asynchronously before closing
.
Transferring authorized user data
Verbox receives data through the __cs array before the widget loads:
Order matters: push data to __csbefore loading support.js, otherwise it won't be passed during widget initialization. In 90% of cases, this is why the operator sees "Guest."
Email notifications and offline form
Verbox sends email notifications for missed inquiries by default. For a Bitrix online store, configure notification recipients in the Verbox admin panel: Account → Notifications. Enter managers' emails or a shared sales department inbox.
When operators are unavailable, Verbox shows an offline form.
Data from the form can be retrieved via the Verbox API or email notification. To automatically record it in Bitrix, use an Email pipeline: forward offline notifications to an address that Bitrix24 monitors as a CRM email channel.
Alternatively, if your Verbox plan supports webhooks:
If the chat is only needed on certain pages (e.g., catalog and cart, not info pages):
<?php
$showWidget = false;
$showPaths = ['/catalog/', '/basket/', '/order/'];
foreach ($showPaths as $path) {
if (strpos($_SERVER['REQUEST_URI'], $path) === 0) {
$showWidget = true;
break;
}
}
if ($showWidget): ?>
<!-- Verbox code here -->
<?php endif; ?>
Verbox allows changing button color, greeting text, and operator avatar via the admin panel. Button position (right/left, margin from edge) is set via CSS variables or __cs parameters:
If the widget conflicts with other floating elements (callback form, "back to top" button), adjust z-index via CSS or change the position of one widget via parameters.
Common integration mistakes
A frequent issue is transmitting user data after the widget has loaded. All __cs push calls must execute beforesupport.js loads. Otherwise, the data won't be applied. Email notifications for missed chats not configured—operators learn about inquiries late, losing orders. Check recipient addresses. Widget displays in the Bitrix admin panel—add a check for CSite::IsAdminSection() or similarly restrict by pages.
Technical details
When using `setCustomData`, ensure your Verbox plan supports custom fields. For advanced scenarios, use the Verbox HTTP API to sync chat statuses with CRM.

Integration description
How Verbox improves chat conversion?
After integration, response time is cut in half—the operator sees the client profile immediately. Without data transfer, 30–60 seconds are wasted clarifying contacts. Sending custom fields (order count, purchase history) enables tailored scenarios. This yields a 15–20% conversion lift over a standard widget without data. The average order value also increases by 15–20%.
Why trust us with integration?
We have over 5 years of experience in Bitrix integrations and have completed numerous projects. We hold a 1C-Bitrix certification. We guarantee deadlines and quality. Every integration comes with documentation and operator training.
